15th I should be free - send me the details and I will liaise with the organisers. I can't open the PDF BTW.

I have spoken to the fundraising organiser and will be speaking to the event manager on Tuesday. we are being asked to man 4 first aid posts from 9.30 until mid afternoon. They are particularly worried about people falling and other injuries that might result as people will be carrying up to 10kg of water for the latter half of the 10k walk.

Although they have asked for four people I would like there to be a minimum of 6 and at best 8 USRs to ensure proper coverage and relief.

Please let me know if you can volunteer for all or part of this. The event is 15 April so please let me know ASAP if you can help out as early info will aid planning.

I'm going to help out. Do will now have enough volunteers?

I would also get the organisers to contact St Johns ambulance ASAP and see if they can man the posts. We can then stay mobile and with our comms we can probably cover the entire route.

Still after volunteers. Our role is firming up as being mobile support for walkers along the final 5km stretch to collect excess water bottles from participants (if they’ve collected too many and can’t carry them safely), provide directions, and try to create a bit of atmosphere.

Big thanks to Stem and DJ for supporting this today. No incidents, and everyone got around safely.

What a great day in central London really glad we decided to get involved with this project.

Thanks to Julian for organising our efforts and DJ for his support.

I love that photo of us three with Tower Bridge as a backdrop.

A thankyou from the organisers.

Hi Guys, What an amazing job you guys did yesterday, we have had so many people including the directors say to me what a brilliant job you did and how much they appreciated you guys being there for us.

Thank you so much once again.

Michael

I’d just like to second that!  Thank you so much for all the support on Sunday, it was extremely reassuring to know you were on the route and I know the walkers really appreciated seeing friendly, smiley faces... especially on the final couple of kilometres.

And thank you again for covering the cost of Jacko from the St John Ambulance.  Luckily we didn’t have any accidents but it really helped to know that we had the necessary precautions in place.

I hope you had a deservedly relaxing Sunday afternoon!  Many thanks, Frances
